Practically...
I decided.
Decided what?
I am leaving you?
WHAT? What was that?
I AM leaving you.
For who? That, that stupid pin-doll colleague of yours?
Yes, her.
Are you crazy??? What do you see in her, what does she have that I don't?
Its not about what she has, it’s about what she does.
Does? What does she do with you? What does she do that I don't, or that I can’t?
She laughs at my jokes.

she just didn't get the joke...
this was a joke right?.. right?
and i am guessing this is a telephonic conversation.. so why the stress on caps lock.. i mean.. i am just wondering how this will go on a chat conversation..
@Anki: How long have you been reading this blog? Do you think I'll ever tell you that THAT was a joke or not? :)
No its not a telephonic conversation, the CAPS are meant to put emphasis on the right word.
To tell you I used the idea of this post for my latest poem. I did link and acknowledge you.
@ Rhett: I read what you have written. Its raunchier, but the entire rhyme thing gives it a nice vaudeville appearance. :-)
thanks for the visit. Am glad you liked it. I think I'll borrow more frm your flash fictions in d future, too ;) have seen your archives and liked them (will always link you).

@Rhett: Well thats generous of you. I have had people posting my tales as their own. Thank you.
@Epiphany: Your being late is NOTHING compared to what i have been doing. Thanks for coming back.
@Aindrila: You have courage. I cant bring myself to complete the stories in my head, and you are attempting a book. Kudos girl!
@Mavron: Long time indeed. Thank you for coming back, for the kind words.
And that you have been away for quite sometime is evident from the fact, that i cdnt make out anything from your PS: Capri comment. Blame it on my bad memory and forgive me.

Its wonderful.. My Life, The Movie.. Both... :)
saw some dark humour there...tht's how i interpret it:)
ha - that would be a horrid truth if it was actually true.
@Ashenglow: I want to see it too. The movie i mean. :-)
Yenjoy!
@Khamakha: You will pick and choose, as you like it. Have fun here.
@San: Long time no see. And what would one do about it then?
Its simple. Thats what I like about it. No complications, no half truths, no lies! Its a simple explanation of a deep relationship, all that is between a man and a woman summed up in 5 words that ring so true that they are sweeter than any love ballad I have heard before.
It brings to my mind 2 contrasting architectures:
One of a simple white house with unique geometrical structure that just captures your mind, large glass windows and a gleaming metallic spiral staircase within that you would ascend with your head held high.
The other one would be that of a stereotype grand house, with ornate pillars and overdone interior.
Your short story very beautifully shows that simplicity and verity are the music and lyrics of the melody called beauty.
@ Learning to Fly: (And hail the Pink floyd song, which had an extra 'how'!) Thats a lot to say for a short snippet story, thank you. And you HAVE read The Fountainhead, havent you?
Yup! Course I have. But the description I gave was of a house I had seen in Belgaum recently........
Hope all is well with ua Aakash?
TC
Keshi.
One of the things that happens...JUST HAPPENS. and whoosh! everything gonein smoke....
Nice piece of rytng, short , sharp, and..the TRUTH.
Yup has been long but i'm back .. when i said i was leaving i just meant taking a break :p
Anyway, if somone did that to me i doubt i would jump to conclusions that they were leaving me for someone else. that alone shows how weak the relationship actually is, lack of trust.
Anyway a joke like that would have some hidden depth, i'd cry, leave maybe even rant but then i'd pick up my shoes and walk on :)
@Learning to Fly: And that was the geometric house or the ornate one?
@Keshi: Hey Keshi girl! Yes, I am fine. Thank you very much and how have you been?
@The Silent Soul: I hope it wasnt true for you. :-)
@san: Some analysis that. :), I hope you dont have to pick up your shoes.
the geometric house with the beautiful gleaming staircase.
